Immunisations protect children (and adults) from harmful infections before coming into contact with them in the community. Immunisations use the body’s natural defensive mechanisms, the immune response, to build resistance to specific infections.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to have an open discussion about this with our Practice Nurse or one of our GPs.
Why are immunisations important?
Immunisations protect children against many serious diseases which children can be exposed to in the community. All childhood immunisations are available at our practice. Call our receptionists today to make an appointment to get your child immunised.

Are immunisations safe?
There is a lot of controversy on social media about the safety of immunisations and we understand how confusing this can be. If you would like more information, please feel free to make an appointment with one of our GPs to have an open, supportive and friendly discussion or visit www.health.nsw.gov.au/immunisation/Pages/default.aspx.
