Dr Heather Barnett

Biography: Dr Heather is a GP Registrar at Kingscliff Health, bringing clinical experience from both the UK and Australia. After qualifying with an MBChB from the University of Leeds, she worked in London for two years before relocating to Australia, where she spent three years working in surgery and emergency medicine across the country. She returned to London to do GP training before joining a regional practice in Western Australia for the last couple of years, and is now excited to join the team at Kingscliff Health.

Dr Heather holds a Diploma in Sexual Health (DFSRH) and is currently working towards one in Men’s Health. Her special interests include sexual and reproductive health, musculoskeletal medicine, chronic disease management, preventative health, and men’s health. She provides Mirena and implant insertions and removals, as well as medical terminations of pregnancy.

Dr Heather now lives locally in Currumbin with her partner, their baby, and their dog.
